Wow, what a week. First of all, I want to congratulate my future sister-in-law Shayla Copeland on getting engaged to her boyfriend of 7 years (I think), Kevin! I'm sure Tamara and her have much to talk about in regards to planning their upcoming weddings! (Note to Kevin, be sure to say "Yes, dear" a lot, it'll make things a lot easier. :P)
I shot a wedding over the past weekend, and I'm quite thrilled with how the photos turned out. I've a few sample photos here for you to view, and I think they're awesome. The wedding was at 9AM in the morning, meaning I had to get up at almost 6AM to get ready for the shoot, but it was totally worth it. The morning light was very flattering for the photos, and made my job easy. Congratulations to Danielle and Aston Teague, the couple I photographed over the weekend!
Without further ado:

The first one is probably the most stunning image of all the photos I shot, but all were good, nevertheless. What I did was duplicate the layer after making the image adjustments to the original image in Lightroom, then applied a Diffuse Glow to the layer making sure that Black was in the foreground color and white was in the background color, then I got the diffussion effect by manipulating the switches a bit. After I was happy with the effects, I lowered the opacity just a tad to get a more "realistic" image.
All in all, a good day's work.
I'm very happy.
